Aren’t we always a half-breath between forever and nevermore?
In this period in between we become a ‘being’ as we take on wings. We realize we are meant to live a life of our own ‘unique’ fabrication to become larger versions of ourselves. In this journey we start discovering who we are at our core.
- We become self experts.
- We do our own ‘impossible task.’
- Do things that matter lead, serve and give.
- We make radical changes in our belief structure because beliefs are not facts.
The students at Jaycees realize this early on in life that ‘consistency is the key’ to being an achiever. ‘Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms-to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.-Dr. Viktor E Frankl.’
Look at/feel the music, the vibes, the friendly competitions, the many splendoured patterns of team Jaycees and yet the biggest gift is our team of passionate teachers and talented students! Our team gets motivation and breeds on roots of discipline and dedication as old as time. When the winds pick up and the branches rock like a swing, it’s as though nature somewhere is celebrating; because the flag of Jaycees is rising higher and higher. The bluebells in a cluster seem to bloom and nod, leaping in the breeze with joy unbound.
Like swans that move as graceful ships and make beautiful beginnings and endings our Jayceesians have proved themselves on the performance stage once again. They have led us on to believe that every effort they make will divide, double and eventually become a reward. Today we celebrate the inner beauty and light in leaders and their troops. At Jaycees immense are the possibilities each sunrise brings.
In this age of ‘multi intelligence and refined skills’ students participate in so many competitions that it can be overwhelming. Under normal circumstances, the plethora of competitions would make each day a dread for the students. Any nervous participant would feel that he is in the ocean, under the water, prepared for spending all day fighting to get to the surface—swimming to the light. But not in Jaycees where teachers offer comforting reassurance and always motivate students to keep up the show, the healthy fight and the crisp competition alive simmering with anticipation. They guide a student artist’s dance step. They ignite beautiful voices. As coaches in various sports, they teach athletes not merely to cultivate or chase the sport but to experience the whole process. No wonder then that we bring living legends home. The world meets the ambassadors of art and sports in the Jaycees’ cradle.
The school abounds in decades of shared positive experience with the teacher student fraternity. The institution encourages the young breed of students for academic pursuits, civic engagements, emergency preparedness and enterprise.
Here’s giving you a glimpse of ‘Life in the Balance.’

We all do have a lot in common. The same air, the same earth, the same sky and the same sunshine! We are all stories. In the end success knocks on the doors of those whose dreams have been higher than their excuses.
Our Jayceesians grasped the opportunity to make our day special. The school leaders have always given them wings to put them on a high flight and roots to remind them to be humble and earthy, despite the most amazing achievements.
Our miracles, our little sunbeams proved themselves once again. Their efforts were like little droplets in the ocean beautiful, mysterious and free.
Their proud achievement has made a
difference, touched hearts, encouraged minds and inspired souls.

We congratulate our coaches led by Lieutenant Vikas Kotnala for having indeed fostered a revolution as expert sports guides. Their elegant realism, practical insight and grounded advice has swept the region with the best sporting practices. Our student players receive regular support through meditation, yoga, stress management, gratitude expression exercises, de-cluttering techniques, mindful eating habits and rewarding cricketing practices. At JPS we set happiness goals and develop characters of sports stars. With the scent on the wind and the perfect angle of the morning and afternoon sun, the wheels at the JPS field turn to create positive changes in the world. Our students have indeed broken the boundaries to emerge as champions.
Uttarakhand team is slated to participate in the Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy Central Zone Interstate Cricket Tournament. Uttarakhand Cricket Association conducted several trial matches to handpick best players of the sport. Out of hundreds of players 20 ace batsmen marked their place. Kshitij Rawat and Udit Sharma from Jaycees Public School stole the thunder. These two stellar cricketers are headed for the training camp at Dehradun. They shall play for the state in the Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy Tournament. The District Cricket League of 2018-19 shall commence from 20th January under the aegis of the District Cricket Association. This series shall be divided into three levels in which 68 teams will participate. Kshitij and Udit have been undergoing regular training in the DPS Cricket Academy. The Academy of DPS has effected a transformative change and introduced us to our super sports challengers.
A lot can be said about Jaycees’ raw youth athlete. His breezy freshness comes from the grounds of the institution. Here sports are not made but invented. Athletes are not manufactured but patented.
